ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the implications of congressional intransigence on the economic stimulus package in the U.S. The author asserts that the administration of President Barack Obama should utilize the congressional intransigence to retool the stimulus package. The author suggests that the government should also use its not inconsiderable influence to get the worst offenders fired.
