The author elaborates on the four characteristics, which, she opines, will help sustain the effectiveness and fulfillment of women leaders. She explains that authenticity involves achieving success when one realizes that she does not need to be a man or act like a man in order for her to be effective. She opines that women leaders are motivated to fulfill their need for satisfaction rather than to defend their sense of security and therefore become fearess leaders who are willing to take risks.
