ABSTRACT
The author reflects on how the U.S. Government should negotiate with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in pursuit of military denuclearization. He notes that the only way the to come up with a successful negotiation with the DPRK is to send high ranking American officials to Pyongyang such as former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and even next President Barack Obama. He also presents an overview of how former President Carter negotiated with DPRK during his term.
