ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the acceptance of an accounting manager for a counteroffer from another accounting firm in the U.S.. He notes that it may be tempting to accept counteroffer if one formed strong relationships with supervisors, colleagues and clients. He suggests that the manager should take this matter carefully before deciding to stay. He argues that counteroffers are common for good employees.
