ABSTRACT
The article reflects on the dilemma faced by many business owners who serve as president of their businesses. He argues that the perfect solution might be a leveraged recapitalization or recap. Moreover, an example of a typical leveraged recap is offered. It permits the company to invest its operating cash flow to grow the business and obtain equity appreciation. Furthermore, the author suggests that business owners must check out a leveraged recap.
