ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's comments on probable western world leaders after crises in the financial sector and Russian aggression. According to the author, U.S. President George W. Bush has not been lacking in courage or the powers of decision making had the end of his tenure not limited his willingness to take on radical commitments. He says that in dealing with foreign affairs and economics, the European Union (EU) is not an union but an ill-assorted collection of weak nations.
