ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the significance of American voters being knowledgeable on political candidates and issues appearing on ballots in Portland, Oregon. He is concerned on the value of late-entry pool of voters in the city. He argues that it is the responsibility of every voter to employ themselves of sufficient information so that he can vote with confidence and knowledge. He mentions the renewal for the Portland Children's Investment Fund, which is one measure he would like to lobby for.
