ABSTRACT
The author comments on the secret funding by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the National Student Association as of 1967. The author questions whether it is acceptable for the government to do in secret what it cannot do openly. The author adds that it is inappropriate for the leadership of a private organization to involve the members without their consent.
