ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's view on the ACS Rubber Division's Rubber Band Contest for Young Inventors. The author is hoping that some really good devices are created that unleash the power of the rubber band. He thinks that there must be some complex mathematical correlation between the elasticity of the rubber band, the size and shape of the projectile, and the angle in which the launch is made.
