The author reflects upon the role of three financial companies that would help in the recovery of New York City from financial crises. The author opines that J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., through its various mergers, is one of the most important hope for the city's financial resurgence. The author stresses that Goldman, Sachs & Co. has also become financially stable through the investment by businessman Warren Buffett and comments on the survival of Citigroup Inc.
