The author discusses the beer bill proposed in the United States in 1933. The author commends U. S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt for calling upon Congress to legalize beer. According to the author, the President is to be praised for his kindness, because beer can cheer up the people after a long day of hard work. The author also states that legalizing beer can also help the government out of its financial difficulties.
