ABSTRACT
The author expresses her views on the outcome of the polls which focused on retailers' financial performance in these tough times. The author shares that what she observed with the result is that not more of the retailers stated a downturn in their overall business compared to 2007. She stresses that the increase in profits is in direct correlation to the level of support retailers believed they received from suppliers and that retailers are looking for active support and recognition.
