ABSTRACT
The author reflects on a bill draft requesting to make bullying on the job illegal in Nevada that was submitted by state Senator Richard Segerblom. The author asks why this legislation should be needed by the state. The author cites labor lawyer Mark Ricciardi, who said that a broad-based bullying law would clog district courts and potentially drive small companies out of business. According to the author, all Nevada lawmakers should start with the basics when submitting proposals.
