ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the impact of the financial crisis in the U.S. on attendees at Sibos in Vienna, Austria. According to the author, delegates were preoccupied with the ballooning financial crisis and could not stay focused on the business at hand. The author believes that only a little was accomplished at Sibos given the fact that the market was experiencing a meltdown of extraordinary proportions.
