ABSTRACT
This article presents the author's views on the July 2008 unemployment statistics for Las Vegas and Nevada. He believes that both Las Vegas and Nevada are being affected by the housing crunch and the tourism decline. He explains how can unemployment numbers increase while the number of people working also increases.
