ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the role of recruiting in the success of a business. He considers a general manager of a truck dealership as a great recruiter because in two years he was able to maintain 13 out of 15 employees in the business. He reveals that a major problem in Las Vegas, Nevada is the failure of companies to attract and recruit good, sharp people, especially those where sales or tactical leadership skills are needed.
