ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the statement of President Arthur T. Hadley of Yale, in New Haven, Connecticut, with regard to the religious element. Hadley said that the two sides to a man's religious life, namely, an emotional side and an intellectual side, must act together. According to the author, sound thinking and uniformity are not enough, but continuity or stability in teaching what is right is the strongest recommendation of the Catholic college and university.
