ABSTRACT
The article looks at the plan of the government to launch the Essential Air Service Program for small towns in the U.S. It cites that the program emerged from airline deregulation in 1978. It claims that subsidized air services in small towns like Ely, Nevada is not an essential right. It suggests residents of small towns to move to other places if they want access to air travel.
