ABSTRACT
The article offers his views on the significance of privacy for a trustee of a charity. Although he believes that a trustee should be reasonably accessible, at least by phone or by electronic mail, as part of an organization's public accountability, he has started to reconsider that when he was phoned by people who described themselves as interested in the work of the charities but it turned out that they were just making a pitch.
