The author discusses the efforts of the North Las Vegas Chamber to gather information and influence the outcomes that reduce the uncertainty faced by businesses. She states that the chamber's focus for the rest of 2008 and beyond is to continue to provide opportunities for their members to grow and prosper, even in the difficult economy. The author adds that the chamber has contracted with Ferrari Smith Public Affairs to assist with its lobbying and public affairs efforts.
