ABSTRACT
The author reflects on various issues of interest to finance. He discusses the need to strengthen the dollar and the U.S. Congress' Price Stability Act of 2008 sponsored by Representative Paul Ryan. He also discussed on the annual "Doing Business" book of the World Bank, which surveys the economies of countries worldwide. On the other hand, he argues that the destructive myth/legend of U.S. 31st President Herbert Hoover is again personified in Barack Obama.
