ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the findings of a study by David Moran and Brad Meyer entitled "Audibility of a CD-Standard A/D/A Loop Inserted Into High-Resolution Audio Playback." The author disagrees with the results of the study that people with good hearing cannot distinguish any difference between high-sample-rate audio. He suggests that further research should be conducted and Ethan Winer's proposition can be a ground of a new study.
