ABSTRACT
The author expresses his view regarding the meeting of Nevada Senator Harry Reid with major airline officials to discuss the issue of rising airfares. According to the author, this issue is vital to Las Vegas because almost 50 percent of Las Vegas visitors arrive by air transportation, and travel is vital to the city's success. The author states that air travel must be affordable. He also notes that he would like to see continuous conversation about the issues of oil price hike, high jet fuel prices, and exorbitant prices of gasoline.
