ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the green movement related to building structures in the U.S. He stresses that green is still in its relative early stage and the movement suffers from the actions of companies and marketers. An overview of the criteria introduced by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is offered. The author suggests to attend the fifth annual Engineering Green Buildings Conference and Expo and Commissioning Green Buildings Conference and Expo.
