ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the Grand Old Part (GOP) and its enemy. He stresses that the enemy of the Republicans is not Barack Obama who is poised to win the nomination for the Democrats for the November 2008 election, but the Republican itself. He adds that many Republicans who have jumped shipped because, they are unhappy on how the way Washington is functioning. Moreover, the author suggests that the party needs to rethink because the party's old principles will no longer work these days.
