ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the call for retailers in the furniture industry to be part of the topics for the Furniture/Today annual Leadership Conference to be held in Naples, Florida on December 3-5, 2008. He mentioned that the 2007 event unveiled a segment called Hometown Heroes, a panel whose intent was to showcase four different retailers' strategies for success. He claimed that his goal for this year is to find four other retailers with compelling success stories.
