The author reflects on the significance of brokers focusing on self-employed clients to ensure they are making their money work harder for them, with the new tax year in Great Britain. He asserts that offset mortgages are well suited to self-employed clients because the cash self-employed home owners put aside to pay their bills can be offset against their mortgages. He explains that offset products are long-term financial planning tools which enable clients to avoid the costs.
