The author reflects on the concept of reducing environmental impact in meetings and conferences in Canada. He discusses the importance of reducing energy use and waste. It is stated that the concept should be applied as much as possible in every aspect of conducted meetings and conferences. He also emphasizes on the active participation of every attendees to become highly interested and be aware of the importance of environmentalism.
