ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the credit conditions of the real estate market in the U.S. He argues on the tightening of credit conditions in commercial real estate lending. He stresses that the credit tightening has lengthened beyond sub-prime and nontraditional mortgage markets. He believes that some business enterprises put off development until credit conditions improved.
