ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's views about the iPhone from Apple Inc. and its competitors. The author says that everything about the iPhone is beautifully-crafted, starting with the exquisite hardware design and continuing on through the user interface, with brightly-coloured icons and screens, translucent dialog boxes, slick screen transitions and a multi-touch input mechanism. The author also says that the iPhone's biggest competition may not even come from mobile-phone companies.
