ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's views about the split of Intel Corp., from the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) project. The author says that it's a shame that OLPC's clever technology, an impressive LCD, a very user-friendly operating system, has been overshadowed by a parade of problems. The author also says that losing Intel's cash and its marketing muscle isn't going to make OLPC's job any easier, particularly if Intel is going to use its massive resources to target the very same markets.
