Falling off the heat ladder

Udall, Randy
March 2008
High Country News;3/17/2008, Vol. 40 Issue 5, p25
The author reflects on the energy shortage in the U.S. He talks about the energy consumption in the country, which is more or less 1 million British thermal unit per person per day, as well as the winter survival. He says that there is a growing evidence of an up-and-coming energy crisis, including the declining oil supply and climate change. He adds that because of this, survival depends on how to save.
