ABSTRACT
The author comments on the issue concerning the move of U.S. President George W. Bush towards the approval of economic-stimulus package by the Congress. The author agrees to the effort of the President because the economic-stimulus package may enhance economic development. It is asserted that the President's goal on renewing the No Child Left Behind education law would stand a better chance of overcoming resistance compared to Democrats' health insurance program for low-income children.
