People Management;1/11/2007, Vol. 13 Issue 22, p46
The author comments on employment-related issues in Europe. He mentions that it is nearly six weeks until the European Social Affairs Council and there is a lot to do. He states that employment and social objectives have been dusted down and officials are checking their agendas to see what needs to be done. He predicts that there is still not the support for either the agency workers directive or amendments to working time to be agreed.
