ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the initiation of the publication entitled "Art Teacher" by the National Art Education Association in the U.S. He asserts that the publication has had considerable success with advertising and subscriptions and that it was developed from an expressed need of members of the profession for a magazine for elementary and secondary levels. He cites that it intends to discuss the problems of teachers by directing attention to the problems, solutions, methods and materials.
