ABSTRACT
The author highlights that events that have affected the human resource (HR) profession in Great Britain in 2007. He notes that a growing number of leading companies put people at the center of their competitive strategies. He also asserts that 2007 was a great year for "People Management," since in July 2007, it posted 1,000 jobs on its Web site for the first time, introduced a new design and new paper and it even won a British Society of Magazine Editors award.
