The author says that he agrees with National Association of Convenience Stores' (NACS) president, Hank Armour who described the health of the industry as 'terrific.' He says that it looks like 2008 will be a real test of whether the convenience store industry is really "recession-proof." According to him, the very real threat of recession looms over the U.S. economy as the year 2008 approaches.
