ABSTRACT
The author shares his views regarding the status of Fidelity Mid-Cap Stock as of December 2007. He commends Fidelity Mid-Cap Stock manager Shep Perkins' performance since being hired in 2005. He believes that as a result of the investment management firm's considerable asset growth, less than 50% of its assets is in mid-cap stocks. He also says that Perkins is keen on valuation as shown by his willingness to remove investments from high-performing sectors in 2007.
