ABSTRACT
The author reflects upon the findings of a study, evaluating the effectiveness of recombinant factor (rF) VIIa factor, for the treatment and prevention of bleeding in patients without hemophilia. He questions the validity and criteria for coninterventions of the study, due to lack of clarity in randomization. He suggests the possibility of alterations in the conclusions of the study, owing to several ongoing trials. He also suggests the need for more data, regarding the efficacy of the factor.
