The author reflects on the assurance of fire loss reports issued by authorized fire reporting team after a fire incident. The author shares about the use of the National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS) which is required by the fire departments in the U.S. to investigate the accurate value of loss of a property after a fire incident. He comments about the reliability and accuracy of the system.
