ABSTRACT
The author comments on a strong, viable central government in Iraq aimed by the administration of U.S. President George W. Bush. According to the author, the best solution is no solution, the U.S. should continue to let events unfold as they are. He says the only way for Iraq to have a strong central government would be if a tyrant took control or if a powerful monarchy like that which ruled in the pre-1958. He adds that sometimes the informal is better than the formal government.
