ABSTRACT
The author comments on Las Vegas, Nevada as an appropriate place to host the HPAC Engineering's fourth annual Engineering Green Buildings Conference and Expo, with the city ranked the 11th in green buildings per capita. He cites that nearly 50 energy-efficient, sustainable buildings that are Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-registered are on the rise. The city is also making use of available sunshine using solar power. The Expo will be held on September 17 and 18, 2007 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
