ABSTRACT
The article honors German sociologists Niklas Luhmann for his sociological efforts vis à vis system theory, rational choice theory, symbolic interactionism and post-structuralism. The author contends that Luhmann has contributed significantly to the success of the publication. Various reports in this issue pertaining to Luhmann's theories are introduced.
