ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the advice of midwives about breastfeeding requirements for HIV-positive mothers in Great Britain. She describes breastfeeding as the most effective fed formula for infants. The author demonstrates that in health care professional practice, mothers are informed about the appropriate method in breastfeeding. She believes that the universal policy care of midwives helped HIV-positive mothers decide the suitable choices on feeding their babies.
