ABSTRACT
The author observes the lack of programs and activities in the Council of the European Union (EU). Ten years ago, there were two social affairs councils per EU presidency. Now there is one. Back then, the priorities for a presidency would be progressing one or two draft laws. Now there are no draft laws mentioned, just long paragraphs of words. Also bak then, there would be perhaps 10 supporting conferences during the six months, Now, there are 60. Take out the European holidays and you are left with only 80 working days for the 60 conferences.
