ABSTRACT
The author argues that online social networks should be responsible in facilitating the online environment where children interact in. The author established such argument in reference to the plans of Playboy Enterprises to imbue the company as a global fashion brand, with mainstream glamour online. He notes, however, that since Playboy acknowledges that its online activity are hard core pornography, the company is ready to work with the social networking industry to ensure its brand is only targeted at adult users.
