ABSTRACT
The article presents the authors' comments on a research study conducted by M. Pignone and his colleagues to determine the cost-effectiveness of aspirin for primary prevention of cardiovascular events in older women at moderate risk. The authors say that Pignone and colleagues examined the cost-effectiveness of aspirin for primary prevention of cardiovascular events in women. However, according to them, a probabilistic sensitivity analysis highlights the limitations of the data in the study.
