Reid's moment, Lugar's duty

Budowsky, Brent
July 2007
Hill;7/10/2007, Vol. 14 Issue 82, p25
The author reflects on the possible impact of the cooperation between Democrat Senator Harry Reid of Nevada and Republican Senator Richard Lugar of Indiana on the U.S. war policy in Iraq. He believes that partnership can create a bipartisan policy for the country's role in Iraq. He also projects that the leadership of Reid may not only steer Senate Democrats to gain control in the Senate, but will also lead the country out of war.
