ABSTRACT
The author comments on several home furnishing released in New York in 1960. She claims that the prefabricated Japanese teahouse offered by Charles R. Gracie & Sons is rare and charming. She also cites a dazzling collection of hand-woven wool rugs sold at Cepelia, a Polish folk-art center at the city. Moreover, she mentions the new folding underbed cot introduced by Simmons. Though it is nothing luxurious, she says its foam-rubber mattress is comfortable in an emergency.
