ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the impact of appointing Jim Nussle to take over Representative Rob Portman's position at the Office of Management and Budget in the U.S. He pointed on the unnecessary harsh by some of his allies and those who started a cold response form Democrats when they heard of Nussle's nomination. He acknowledged Nussle's capability and ability on facing those challenges since the latter equipped with fiscal credentials and would not object in repeating threats of veto for bills.
